Shawn,
Thank you for giveing me the priveledge of meeting your mother and careing for her. Even through her sickness she seemed to be more worried about the other persons well-being other than her own. My heart goes out to you and your family for this long struggle and loss. I hope you find comfort to know shes not suffering anymore.

Shawn, I met your parents while caring for your father in their home before his passing. After that I occasionally met your mother at functions and she never forgot me. I am so sorry to see that now she has also passed. They were such gracious, wonderfully spirited people. And you were the light of their life, even though you lived far away then. Never doubt that either of them loved you.

So sorry for your loss, Shawn! Your mother was one of the sweetest human beings I ever met. Always a helping hand, giving solid advice and having a forgiving heart. Looking for the positive in any situation, was also a blessed quality of your mom. Please accept my deepest condolences, as my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time! Love ya, brother!

Thinking of the family during this difficult time. Gwen was a great friend to my Mother, Dona Jewel Vaughan, and I have many happy memories of the two of them together. Missing both of them very much. With love, Donna Vaughan Kaplan

Gwen ..My very special sister , best friend and 2 nd Mom..
She always shared her life with me . Her happy times and
hart aches , which were many. A few yrs ago I was honored to share the Lord with her and she gave her hart to the Lord . You may say she was a preacher's child .. Yes however John 3:16
says it all .. Rest in peace special lady.. God Bless ..Bill Nelson
