I was blessed for 11 wonderful years to work with this man. He was more of a brother than I would consider a boss. I guess It was his time to leave this world the week that I decided to go on vacation which ended up being one of the worst weeks of my life. I have one memory that stands out that I have to share with everyone who reads this. I still to this day can sit and laugh at the joke I pulled on him here at the office. It was close to Halloween and I of course always had the parties for my kids with the scary decorations and such. Well one day I decided I was gonna bring in my scary woman who was a skeleton made up of bones with straw long hair and a black wavy dress on that stood about 6 ft tall. So for anyone knowing Brad and how tall he was... Keep reading... I placed her on her stand and put her in the bathroom at the office (Ransbottom Insurance Agency) and waited for Brad to walk in. I was determined to scare him. The bathroom needless to say was the perfect place for her. There are no windows so when you open the door its pitch black and cant see anything. Well Brad walked in, turned the light on and immediately screamed to the top of his lungs. If I had not known it was Brad I would have swore it was a woman’s scream. lol... He fell into the door when he jumped and Rose and I were both in the front office laughing so hard I couldn't hardly breathe. lol... After he realized we played a joke on him he came out of there laughing and determined that paybacks were worse. We always had a good time while also doing our jobs and I still find myself waiting to see him pull in or even walk thru the door. I know Brad is no longer suffering and flying with the Angles but it still doesn't fill this emptiness that I have inside. Brad you will always be the best boss I will ever have. Thank you for the 11 years that you were a part of my life as well as my families. Im blessed and leave this message with a smile on my face. Gone but never forgotten. Prayers for Sherri, Ella, Janice, Scott, Kelly and Floyd along with the rest of his family and friends. May peace find your heart as well as mine. ~~~~~~ Mary

You're so sweet to write your wonderful memories of Brad. He always depended on you and thought you and your husband were two incredible people. Brad never met a stranger and never had unkind words to say of others. He was an incredible man, friend, father and husband. My heart is full of his live that increases each day. Yet, I have a dull ache that will never subside from his absence in our lives. I am forever grateful God chose me as his wife and Ella and Emma as his daughters. He always said he couldn't wait to see Emma the day he entered his forever home. How blessed is she to have her daddy with her. There was not a kinder sole here on earth than Bradford T. Ransbottom. You blessed him more than you'll ever realize. May God bless you and your sweet family as he continues to pour blessings upon our family. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Hannah! We love you so very much! Brad loved you as well! You would immediately stop crying when you heard his deep voice when you were a baby. He always had a gentle way with babies. You've been so helpful to us since Brad went to heaven. He would be so proud of you! Love you sweet girl!

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I found out thru the Allstate Insurance email that was sent out. I just lost my sister, Jennifer Seal, who was an Allstate agent as well from that same disease. She was 42 years old and leaves behind a teenaged daughter too. My heart breaks for your family's loss. I will pray for strength for the days to come.

Janice, we worked together at O-I and Brad was my insurance advisor for as long as I can remember. I feel your pain and share your grief because I too lost a son all to soon. He was just 19. The only way to survive is to trust in God. You are in my thoughts and prayers. GOD BLESS!

Dear Sherry and Ella,
We are so deeply saddened to hear of Brad's passing. He was such a wonderful person to be with, and I'm sure he was the best husband and father. Whenever Zoya was with you, I just instinctively knew that she was being cared for as if she was his own. He was such a calm comforting presence. I know he will be forever dearly missed and remembered. Please know that we are here for you if there is ever anything we can do. Love, Gretchen

You have all been in my prayers as Brad battled so courageously and fiercely. God allowed him many years here to watch Ella grow and to be a loving husband to Sherri. Many prayers were answered along the way! I will continue to pray as you journey through the grief of this loss. May God shower you with grace and confort beyond your understanding. Much love and blessings, Angela
