Jessie Farell Harris, 48, of Matoaka, WV, died on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital following a short term illness. He was born on January 27, 1972 in Bluefield, WV, the son of the late Bobby Pendergrass and Marie Harris Pendergrass. He was a man of many trades his main choice of work was to be working on cars and his truck he also loved riding ATVs and trucks throughout the mountains and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his lifelong companion Jessica Gillespie; children Jessica Clower and her husband Omar Pinero of Pittsburgh, Jessie Carpenter and his wife Santana of Bluefield, Katlyn Harris and her fiancé Aaron Navy, Jessie Harris II and Dakota Giberson; brothers Robert Pendergrass and Jody Pendergrass; sisters Crystal Miller, Mary Taylor, Tessie Pendergrass, Tasha Pendergrass and Loren Cline; grandchildren Cephus Clower, Joscelyn Clower, Jacquelyn Clower, Nathan Carpenter, Isaiah Carpenter, Landon Carpenter, Kaiden Carpenter and Charlotte Rae Navy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; dear friends Shirley and Mike Tiller; former wife and lifelong friend Margaret Clower. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Helen Harris, his brother James Harris and his paternal grandparents Millard Pendergrass and Lilli Pendergrass. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Jessie Carpenter or Robbie Pendergrass.
