Edith Jewell (Franklin) Priddy

Edith Jewell Priddy 90 of Huntington, WV passed away on Wednesday, December16, 2020 at Paramount Senior Living. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. David Lemming officiating. Live streaming at LMBC.tv. and Beard Mortuary Facebook live. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at the church. She was born Dec 11, 1930, the last of eight siblings, to James Marion and Willa Belle Fugate Franklin. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, Frederick H. Priddy. Jewell retired as a Registered Nurse with over forty years of service at St. Mary’s Hospital, with fifteen of those years as Head Nurse in the Emergency Room. She was a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving children, Greg (Terri) Priddy of Huntington; Mark (Donna) Priddy of Huntington; John (Connie) Priddy of Barboursville and Kelly (Winston) Munro of Huntington; grandchildren, Samantha Priddy, Garrett Priddy, and Connor and Corey Munro. Great-grandchildren, Dominique, Derrick, Devon, Lyla, Brooks, Gregory and Dylan and a host of nieces and nephews. Online memories and condolences may be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com.
