Sylvia Jean (Ross) Reed

Sylvia Jean Reed, 79 of Proctorville, OH went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary with Mark Killen officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends after 9:30 a.m. She was born January 22, 1941 the daughter of the late Jess and Ruth Sowards Ross. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Reed, two sisters, Mary Frances Ross and Shirley Ann Ross and two brothers, Bob Hayes and Jess Ross. She was a member of Madison Avenue Church of God. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Dee Reed of Chesapeake, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Chris Hardwick of Proctorville, OH; two grandchildren, Madison and Mason Reed; brother, William Edison Ross; two sisters, Emma Townson and Joyce Ross; a host of nieces and nephews and special friends, Teresa, Mark and Ashton Killen.
