Brett Matthew Broce

It is with great sadness that the family of Brett Matthew Broce announces his passing on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the age of 62 years. Brett will always be lovingly remembered by his parents Delbert Jackson (Pat) Broce and JoElla Broce Hunter. Brett will always remain in the hearts of his beloved daughters, Brittany Ann Broce (Tony Reed) and Laura Meagan (Aaron) Farley. He was very proud of his daughters, his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Brieanna Hale, Noah Hale, Paige Hale, Bella-Mae Nicely, Avery Nicely, Chaydence Ariah Carter, Tucker Hale and Kingston Skeens. Brett was one of six children left to mourn his passing, his sisters Marcy Frost, Alicia Claywell, Julia (Tim) White and two brothers, Brian (Ann) Broce and Brad (Rebecca) Broce. He was preceded in death by his son, Kaleb Ariah Carter and grandparents Hollis Gardner, Ruth Gardner and Julia Broce. Brett graduated from Huntington East High School in 1976 and upon graduation enlisted in the Marine Corp. Brett was a very successful car salesman and finance manager for several car dealerships. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Pikeville Medical Center for their excellent care and compassion. A Celebration of Brett’s life will be private for the family.
