William Thomas Moore

William Thomas "Bill" Moore, 77, of Huntington, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House. His funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Robert Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. He was born December 8, 1937 in Cabell County the son of the late Harry Thomas and Della Mae Clagg Moore. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Holley and a brother Richard Moore. He was retired from the Marshall University Maintenance Dept., was an active member, usher, and Sunday school teacher at Cyrus Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Gray Moore; children, Carol Moore-Thunderdance of Savanah GA  ; William T. "Billy" Moore, II of Huntington; Jeffery D. (Kathy) Moore of Huntington; WV; Craig (Michelle) Moore of Patriot, OH; Carrie (Brian) McCallister of Barboursville, and eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Saunders and Marlene (Paul) Christian of Huntington; two brothers, Rev. Harry (Donna) Moore of Barboursville and Robert Moore of Cleveland, OH; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; a special friend, Gwen Blevins and Hospice caregivers, Darcie Thomas and Margie Copley. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Cyrus Creek Missionary Baptist Church or Hospice of Huntington. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Beard Mortuary.
