Vivian Lee Maynard

Vivian Lee Maynard, 75 of South Point, OH, passed away on Friday April 29, 2016 at King's Daughters Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Terry Noble officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, WV. She was born December 20, 1940 in Portsmouth, VA the daughter of Marcella Lester Sawyer of Stanton, VA and the late Robert Lester. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Randale Maynard. She is a member of Cornerstone Bible Church, South Point, OH. Vivian is survived by her loving family including two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon Maynard Velarde-Wong and Omar of Bristow, VA and Cheryl Maynard Webb and Philip of South Point, OH; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Vickii Maynard of Kunming, China; grandchildren, Matilda Velarde Maynard, Taylor, Olivia, Spencer and Chloe Maynard, Theron Drayton, Robert Maynard, and Brad and Jacob Webb; two great-grandchildren, John Philip Webb and Elizabeth Alma Drayton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James "Jimmy" and Bonnie Lester of Suffolk, VA; Tommy and Susan Lester of Portsmouth, VA; Phillip and Terri Lester of Statesville, NC;  a sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and John Hammer of Fishersville, VA and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary.
