Virginia Mae Wahlman

Virginia Mae Wahlman, 79 of Huntington, WV died Tuesday March 31, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Beverly Hills United Methodist Church with Rev. James Shepherd and Rev. Donald E. Wahlman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born May 24, 1929 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Edward Earl and Erma Marie McClure. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and William McClure. She loved sewing and cooking as her hobbies and was an active and faithful member of Beverly Hills United Methodist Church. Virginia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family who survives her, including her husband of 56 years, Donald A. Wahlman; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and David Marshall of Merritt Island, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Mary Beth Wahlman of Columbia, TN; and her grandchildren, Heather and Tyler Marshall of Merritt Island, FL; Matthew, Martha, Benjamin, Philip and Rachel Wahlman all of Columbia, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM at Beard Mortuary.
