Virginia L. Smith

Virginia L. Smith, 83, of Huntington, WV, wife of William Smith for 61 years, went home to the Lord on Monday, September 7, 2009. She is survived by two daughters, Judith A. Dillion and her husband Daniel of Fraziers Bottom, WV and Donna Weston and her husband Archie of Huntington, WV; one son, Philip Wade Smith of Barboursville, WV; one sister, Delores Cremeans of Kenova, WV; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three special friends, Marie Smith, Mary Perdue, and Barbara Harmon. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Central Freewill Baptist Church of Huntington where she served as a nursery attendant for over 30 years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Steve Williams and Rev. Caudle Adkins  officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington.
