Mrs Virginia L. Mossburg

Virginia L. Mossburg, 91 of Huntington, WV passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House. Private services were held at Woodmere Memorial Park with Rev. Hubert Harvey officiating. Burial followed. She was born August 2, 1920 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Julia Lawson Simmons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ortie D. Mossburg. She was retired with 22 years of service as a clerk at the Cabell County Court House.  She was a member of 5th Avenue Baptist Church. Virginia is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Jim Pratt of Knoxville, TN; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Mossburg of Lesage, WV; five grandchildren, Timothy Pratt of Atlanta, GA; Todd Pratt of Knoxville, Laura Dehkordi of Knoxville, Matt Mossburg of Bluefield, WV and Joe Mossburg of Jacksonville, FL. and two great granddaughters, Rachel and Kristen Dehkordi. Beard Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
