Virginia Crum Arrowood, 92, of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at home. Born on June 3, 1924 in Cabell County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Worthy Crum and Myrtle Scarberry Crum. Virginia worked as a school cook for Cabell County for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, going to church when she was able and was an avid Marshall University fan. Above all, Virginia was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, Larry (Carol) Arrowood of Willard, NC, and Linda Arrowood of Huntington; her siblings, William (Iris) Crum of Huntington and Velma Booth of Huntington; grandchildren, Melissa Thibodeaux, Michael Arrowood and Christopher Arrowood; five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; one nephew and two nieces. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Minister Danny Evans, officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to services.
