Tyler Jamesson Davis, age 34, passed away on February 8, 2026. He was born on July 14, 1991.
Tyler was a compassionate soul who had a deep love for animals and found great joy in their companionship. He cherished the time he spent with his friends, sharing laughter, stories, and moments that created lasting bonds. Tyler was a proud graduate of Marshall University and remained closely connected to the community. He especially loved following Marshall football and sharing scores, updates, and spirited conversations with his Engines Inc family and his many friends.
Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Jim Davis; his sister, Amanda Davis; and his grandmother, Ethel “Dale” Henry, who adored him deeply.
He is survived by his mother, Vanessa J. Davis; his uncle, John “Jack” Henry; his aunt, Catherine (Dave) Edgington; his cousin, Ashley Fleck; his great-uncle, Carl (Annette) Grover, and Robby Abinsay, who was like a brother to Tyler. He also leaves behind many dear friends, extended family members, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
Tyler will be remembered for his kind heart, his loyalty to those he loved, and the warmth he brought into the lives of others. His spirit will live on in the countless memories shared by those fortunate enough to know him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Huntington Mall, 8061 U.S. Route 60 E, Barboursville, WV. Family and friends are invited to attend, share memories, and honor Tyler’s life.
