Tina Rebecca Cox Gray

Tina Rebecca Cox Gray, 54 of Lesage, WV, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born July 30, 1970 in Columbus, OH.

The thing she was most proud of was being a mother. Tina loved playing games with her children – Yahtzee, Rummy and especially Dice. She always made sure her children never went without and she always made something out of nothing.

Tina is survived by her mother, Wilma Adams; children, James Rodney Cox, II, Joseph Cox, Joshua Cox, Christina Cox, Leann Cox, Myron Brumfield and Cheyenne Brumfield; brother, William "Billy" Johnson; sisters, Yvonne, Blanche and Michelle Johnson; grandchildren, Aiden Bocook, Shannon Johnson, Addison Bocook, Mckenna Cox, Sylus Cox, Remmington Hicks and Ashley Scarberry and nieces and nephews, Latasha Swope, Gabreail Johnson, Brandon Harmon, Austin Wisman, William Clark, Zackary Jobe, Maria, Noah and Allie.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 1 PM at Beard Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon until 1 PM with Rev. Timothy Dixon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery Annex. Please leave an online condolence for Tina's family on her tribute wall.
