Obituary

Timothy (Tim) Allan Halfhill, 47, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on February 12, 2026, at King’s Daughters Hospital in Ashland, surrounded by the love of those who held him closest. He was born on October 8, 1978, and lived a life defined by hard work, humor, and a deep devotion to his family.

Tim is survived by his two children, Jaylon Halfhill and Kayla Ward (Roy), who were the pride and joy of his life. He also maintained a meaningful connection with his stepchildren, Cassidy Sweeney and Tanner McMillen, always wishing the very best for them. He leaves behind his loving mother, Donna Jean Bartlett (Cade), who remained a steady source of love and support throughout his life.

He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, with one more on the way. Tim never missed an opportunity to brag about them, and his face lit up whenever he spoke of his family.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Bartlett and Jean Bartlett.

Known for his remarkable sense of humor, Tim had a gift for bringing light to any situation. He enjoyed cheering on the Chicago Bears and Notre Dame, often with a Bud Light in hand. Some of his happiest moments were spent grilling out, sitting around a fire, and sharing time with friends and family.

Tim will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, his dedication to family, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held. A private celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Please leave an online condolence for Tim’s family on his guestbook.
