THOMAS "TOMMY" LOGAN ANDERSON, 84, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House. Thomas was born in Paris, KY on January 13, 1929, the son of the late William Ray and Ada Legg Anderson. He was a retired electrician for INCO, a member of the American Legion, and a 65 year member of the VFW Post 9738 Guyandotte where he was an officer for many years, serving as the Quarter Master until he retired. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Anderson; one brother, Billy Anderson; one daughter, Teresa Lycans; one son, Jimmy Anderson; and two grandsons, Danny Jeffers, and Casey Lycans. He is survived by one daughter, Becky (Steve) Huff; three brothers, Eugene (Delores) Anderson, Darrell (Venita) Anderson, Sharrell (Pam) Anderson; one sister, Dorcus (Homer) Craig; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 1:00pm at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until time of service on Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
