Thelma R. Reese

Thelma R. Reese, 95, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 in Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with the Rev. William De Moss officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.  She was born February 13, 1913 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late O.L and Alva Roy.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, James O. Reese and one sister, Melba Preston.  Thelma was a 1931 graduate of Huntington High School and a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kathy Reese of Huntington; one grandson, Captain J.R. Reese and his wife, Melissa of Ft. Bragg, NC; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Joshua Reese and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
