Thelma Joy Mays

Thelma Joy Blair Mays, 75 of Largo, Fl. formerly of Huntington, WV passed away on Thursday September 18, 2008 at Encore Senior Village, Clearwater, Fl. She was born September 25, 1932 in Johnson County, KY a daughter of the late Prater and Goldia O'Bryan Blair. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Mays and a brother, Ernest Leon Blair. She retired in 1974 with 15 years of service with the Huntington Alloy Products Division of International Nickel Company. She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ford and Janet Blair of Huntington and James McCoy and Arnold Lee Blair of Pataskala, OH, her nieces and nephews, Gregory Blair, Lea Ann Blackburn, Denise Stombock, Tony, David and Matthew Blair. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Huntington. Private family services will be held at a later date. Beard Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
