Thelma Blanchard

Thelma Russell Blanchard, 83, of Kimball, WV, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at her son's residence.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.  Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.  She was born November 5, 1924, a daughter of the late Marvin W. and Elizabeth Hollowell Russell.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William B. Blanchard and one sister, Mary Alice Russell.  Mrs. Blanchard was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Huntington as well as the United Methodist Women.  She also loved needlepoint and crafts.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William B. "Brad", Jr. and Deborah Blanchard of Kimball, WV; two granddaughters, Adria and Amber Blanchard; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Ann Russell of Virginia; two nieces, Dedra Barker and Debra Adams; and one nephew, Ken Russell.  Friends may call Friday, May 9, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
