Dr. Stephen J. Kopp

Dr. Stephen James Kopp, 63 of Huntington, WV passed away Wednesday December 17, 2014. He was born March 28, 1951 the son of the late Joseph B. and Josephine Scutella Kopp. Dr. Kopp was the President of Marshall University for the past nine years. He was a member of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 42 years, Jane Schade Kopp; a daughter Elizabeth Bradley and her husband, Dr. Matthew Bradley of St. Louis, MO; a son Adam Kopp  and wife, Amanda of Naperville, IL; grandchildren, Rachel and Ryan Bradley; sisters, Jennifer (Tom) O'Brien and Barbara (Lester) Merz; brothers, Christopher Kopp, Jeffrey Kopp, Daniel (Mary) Kopp and Brian (Cheryl) Kopp; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Schade; brothers-in-law, Michael Schade and Jerry (Robin) Schade; and a host of nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends.
