Shirley Ann Jordan

Shirley Ann Jordan, 79, of Huntington, met with angels on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Born June 29, 1937 in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Oval Lee Stanley and Ruth Jones Stanley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ray Jordan, Sr. and a brother, Robert Stanley. Shirley was a waitress at the former Rebels and Redcoats and retired from Red Lobster.  She loved visiting the beach but above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She is survived by two sisters, Imogene Fuller and Willa "Pee Wee" Stanley; five children, Kathy (Billy) Merritt of Huntington,  Robin (John) Hamlin of Aracanum, OH, Eugene (Tammy) Jordan of Proctorville, OH, David (Tina) Jordan of Chesapeake, OH, and Bruce (Sheila) Jordan of Lewisburg, WV; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Shirley will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Kerry Bart, officiating.  The family will welcome friends after 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.
