Sarah Ann Isaacs

Sarah Ann Isaacs, 88, of Huntington, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at her residence.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Don Napier officiating.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne, WV.  She was born December 15, 1921 in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Lindsey and Laura Blankenship.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Lee Adkins and her second husband, Lee Isaacs.  She is survived by two sons, Russell L. Adkins, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Huntington and Roger Dale Adkins of Ashland, KY; two daughters, Frieda Thompson and her husband, Rudolph of Chesapeake, OH and Barbara Kitts and her husband, Donald of Proctorville, OH; one sister, Sabra Rowe of Huntington; niece and dear friend, Hazel Blankenship of East Lynn, WV; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and other family members.  Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com
