Ruby Harshbarger

Ruby Slone Harshbarger, 87, of Huntington, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 in Hospice House of Huntington.  Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Woodmere Memorial Park Abbey of Remembrance.  She was born July 18, 1920 in Pike County, KY, a daughter of the late Jeff and Nancy Huff Slone.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Shannon Harshbarger, Sr.  Mrs. Harshbarger was retired from Owens Illinois and a member of the O.E.S. Chapter 89, Guyandotte.  She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Shannon and Vicki Harshbarger of Huntington and David and Florence Harshbarger also of Huntington; and one sister, Martha Lyons of Chesapeake, OH.  Friends may call from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the cemetery.  Beard Mortuary, Huntington is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
