Ruby Lee Hanna, 88, of Lesage, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at her residence. Born on June 25, 1928 in Cabell County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Scarberry and Eva Henry Scarberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Motto Ray Hanna; children, Donna Kay Carter, Geneva Lee Hanna and Danny Ray Hanna; siblings, Rex Scarberry, James Scarberry, Rose Scarberry and Ella Underwood. Ruby was a very strong and special woman who was dear to us all. She is survived by her son, Jimmy David Hanna; sisters, Patricia Scarberry, Eloise Scarberry and Jean Roten and her grandchildren, Daniel Hanna, Travis Hanna, Tiffany Babb, Jimmy Hanna, Shane Hanna, Tracy Hanna, William Hanna, Jonathan Hanna, Krista Hanna, Eric Crawford, Tim Crawford and Brad Carter. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Doug Spurlock, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbottom Memorial Park in Lesage. The family will welcome friends for visitation at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
