Obituary

Ronnie Lee Woodrum, 85, of Huntington, WV, passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2026, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

He is survived by his wife, Lorena Woodrum; his daughter, Stephanie Mayo (Mike); his sons, Craig Woodrum and Chadd Woodrum (Heather); seven grandchildren, Brad Mayo (Kenzi), Brittany Ferguson (Brian), Kris Imler (Jenny), Clayton Woodrum, Stacey Woodrum, Kira Mount-Page, and Zane Woodrum; nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Gerald Woodrum (Kim); his sister-in-law, Katherine; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Martha Woodrum, and by his brother, Tommy Woodrum.

Ronnie was a hardworking man who retired from Spurlock’s Flowers after many years of service. In his younger days, he especially enjoyed riding motorcycles.

At Ronnie’s request, there will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington in his memory. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to his hospice caregivers, whom they describe as true angels. Please leave an online condolence for Ronnie’s family on his guestbook.
