Beloved husband and brother, RONALD HANSFORD ELKINS, 67, of Huntington, husband of Linda Walls Elkins passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born on July 11, 1945 in Cabell County, a son of the late David and Ivory Walls Elkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Ronald (Cindy) Elkins of Huntington, William (Summer) Elkins of Ashland, KY, and Marita (James) Moore of Orlando, FL; siblings, David (Lola) Elkins, Gaye (Wilbur) Day, and Rodney (Connie) Elkins all of Huntington; grandchildren, Michael, Megan Shelby, and Connor; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous friends, extended family, and fellow musicians.
