Roger Arthur Morrison

Roger Arthur Morrison, 39, of Huntington, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.  Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery in Huntington.  Born on December 15, 1976, he was a son of Janey (Tommy) Geer and the late Ricky Morrison. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold Morrison and maternal grandparents, Art and Mary Rowsey. Roger was a 1995 graduate of Cabell Midland High School and was formerly employed by E.A. Sports in Orlando, FL, and Quick Hits in Boston, Mass.  Roger loved his job designing video games and was very knowledgeable about sports. He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Louise Morrison, with whom he made his home since infancy; aunt and uncle, Brenda and Dana Turley; sister, Beth Geer and her children, Dillon and Alexa; aunt, Saber Geer and several cousins. Friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Beard Mortuary.
