Robert Leroy Nance

ROBERT L. NANCE, 65, of Huntington, Husband of Vondia Clary Nance, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at his residence. He was born on January 25, 1946 in Huntington a son of the late Thomas and Nellie Dennison Nance. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Franklin Nance, Charles Nance, Jesse Nance and Homer Fredrick Nance; sisters, Patricia Nance Cooper, Kathleen Nance Mayse and Sharon Kay Nance. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Ozzie Thomas Nance of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Reba Montana Nance of Huntington; granddaughter, Willow Reba Shianne Nance; sisters, Helen Nance Hayes and Virginia Lorine Nance Perry; an aunt, Mrs. Ardie Keener; 22 nephews and 28 nieces. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Culloden Cemetery, Culloden, WV with Minister Omar Pennington officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.
