Robert Lee Jones

Robert L. Jones 61, of Huntington, WV passed away on Wednesday December 25, 2013 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Rick Glass officiating. The family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. Robert was a published author of poetry and was employed by the Guyandotte Public Library. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. and Mabel V. Jones, a brother Danny A. Jones and a son, Matthew A. Jones. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 32 years, Jean Anne Merritt Jones, sons, Robert L. Jones, II, Nicholas M. and Alexander M., a daughter, Courtenay (Seth) Johnson all of Huntington; grandchildren, Zach, Robert L., III, Marlon and Talia and his close friends, Corey and Cody Hatton and a host of other close friends and family.
