Robert Lloyd Gibson

Robert Lloyd Gibson, 55 of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1969 in Huntington to Robert and Karen Gibson.

Robert worked for Acres Paving for over 28 years. He enjoyed rebuilding and working on race cars as well as building model cars.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Billy Rose. Robert is survived by his parents, Robert Harrison (Earline) Gibson, Jr. and Karen (Mark) Bryan; wife, Doris Gibson; children, Brittany Renee (Donald Harris) Gibson, Robert Lloyd (Constance) Gibson, Jr., Adan Briar and Koby Alan Gibson; grandchildren, Samara Gibson, Kiara Gibson, Gage Gibson and Laviegha Gibson; brothers and sisters, Andrea (Thomas) Whitmore, Matt (Patty) Gibson, Carolyn Rose, Amber (Nathan) Bartram and Krystal (Kyle) Campbell and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025 with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 PM, both at Beard Mortuary. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park. Please leave an online condolence for his family on his tribute wall.
