Richard Dean Stover

Richard Dean Stover, 79, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Born March 14, 1936 in Barboursville, he was the son of the late Nick Stover and Ethel Alberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (Walls) Stover, who passed away in 2010; his son, Geoff Stover; his brothers, Jack Stover, Rudolph Stover and Randolph Stover, and his sisters, Virginia Aliff, Helen Spradling and Phyllis Spradling. He is survived by his children, Eric Stover of Huntington, Lisa (Rod) Stover of Huntington, Cheryl (Martin) Morales of Nevada, Greg (Patty) Stover of Ohio and Bonita (Spencer) Martinez of Nevada; his brother, Jim Stover of Huntington; his sister, Mary Ann Basham of Barboursville; his grandchildren, Kayla Stover, Courtney Stover, Robert Stover, Trish Martinez, Ernie Martinez, Jennifer Franco, Christopher Sayady, Brittanie Morales, Breawna Morales, Brandon Morales, Grace Stover, Raymond Stover, Regina Stover, Samantha Royce, Randy Stover and Geoff Stover Jr.; his great-granddaughter, Avery Stover and 17 additional great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the mausoleum chapel at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, with burial to follow.
