Richard "Dick" Roberts

Richard D. "Dick" Roberts, 81, of Huntington passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 in St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor J. Andrew Magnusson officiating.  Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Eleanor, WV.  He was born April 17, 1926 in Kenova, WV, a son of the late Narcissus and Eileen Roberts.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Roberts.  Mr. Roberts was a member of the Beverly Hills United Methodist Church.  He was retired from the US Postal Service, served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and was an avid bowler.  He is survived by two brothers, Narcissus Roberts of Martinsburg, WV and James T. Roberts and his wife, Beverly of Huntington; two brothers-in-law, Walter Rowe and his wife, Hilda of NC and Gene Rowe and his wife, Joan of FL.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the mortuary.
