Richard Lee Crawford, Sr.

Richard Lee Crawford, Sr. 84, of Huntington, WV passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Fred Ramey officiating. Entombment and Military Rites will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born December 16, 1933 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles William and Lillian Broughton Crawford and a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy Jean and William Belcher. Richard was retired from INCO (Special Metals). He was an avid Bluegrass musician and was a member of the Fiddlers Association. He was a Navy Veteran and was a life member of V.F.W. Post 9738. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Carter Crawford; two sons, Richard Lee Crawford, Jr and his wife, Tina and Keith A. Crawford all of Huntington; two nephews, a host of friends and his beloved dog Charlie. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary.
