Richard Burns

Richard J. "Dick" Burns, Jr. 73, of Barboursville, WV passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Barboursville Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time. He was born December 25, 1940 in Toledo, OH.  He is survived by his lifetime partner of 30 years, Reva Bailey; two daughters, Reona Bailey-McGee, Barboursville, WV, and Kimberly Burns Brames, Indiana;  grandchildren, Roman Jacob, and Rocco Gray McGee, Barboursville, WV and Emma Sue, Indiana. He is also survived by Rita and Russ Hodges, Barboursville, WV; Roman Hodges, Barboursville, WV and Ryan Hodges, Greenville, SC.; Dorothy "Gram" Morris, Summerfield, OH; sisters, Peg Van Brackel and Ruth Ann Baker. He also leaves behind very special friends, Brenda Linville, Rhonda Vance, Steve and Nancy Ely and Denise, Mike, and Nick Hoge.
