Regina E. Combs

Regina E. Combs, 77 of South Point, OH died Sunday November 9, 2008 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 PM at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Daryl Fourman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH. She was born March 29, 1931 a daughter of the late Howard Wayne and Frances Ray Hastings. She was a 50 year employee of the Department of Surgery of University Physicians and Surgeons and was a member Chesapeake United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Lee Combs McKee, a son, Curtis Michael "Mike" Combs and a brother Joe Wayne Hastings. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Curtis F. Combs; a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick Wayne Combs, Sr. and Bonnie of Proctorville, OH; a sister, Harriett Thackston and her husband, Robert of Lynchburg, VA; a son-in-law, Ronnie L. McKee of South Point; a daughter-in-law, Denise Combs of Chesapeake, OH; grandchildren, Eddie (Nicole) Lafon, Regina "Gina" McKee Fisher, Michael Shane (Mandy) Combs, Andy (Gina) Combs, Patrick (Mindy) Combs, Brian Combs and fiancé JoAnn Harmon and April Combs; eleven great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends and co-workers.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com.
