Raymond Lynn Hampton, Ii

Raymond Lynn Hampton, II, 83 of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington.  He was born January 10, 1940 at Huntington, a son of the late Raymond Lynn and Vera Howell Hampton.  Raymond retired as an attorney from the Huntington VA Medical Center. He was a member of the Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church and the National Rifle Association. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon June Hampton.  Survivors include his three sons, Raymond Lee Hampton and wife Michelle of New London, NC, Phillip Michael Hampton and John Patrick Hampton, both of Huntington; two brothers, John Wade Hampton of Alexandria, VA and David Hampton of Huntington; one grandson, Henry Barrett Hampton.  Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington with Pastor Terry Deane officiating.  Beard Mortuary is honored to serve the Hampton family.
