R.M. "Mike" Carroll, 59, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, May 18, 2007 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Apostle Rick Carey officiating. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Christus Mausoleum, Barboursville. Mike was born November 17, 1947 a son of the late C.I. and Bert Bias Carroll. He was the former owner of Carroll's Truck Stop, and the owner and manager of Nanna's Country Restaurant. He was dedicated to people of law enforcement and to the business people of Cabell County. He spent his time working hard, talking to everyone he met, and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathy Carroll; two sons, Lance Gore and Bob Carroll both of Huntington; daughter, Amy Carroll Slack and her husband, Ralph of Culloden; brother, Charles and Ann Carroll, Jr. of Huntington; two grandsons, Garrett Slack and Brian Ellis, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Sherry Pitts and Linda Allen; brothers-in-law, Mike Allen and Brian and Tiffany Ellis; Uncle, V.K.
