Paul "Jameson" Williamson

Paul "Jameson" Williamson, 67 of Chesapeake, OH, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 in the Cabell Huntington Hospital after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born October 25, 1956 in Beckley, WV, the son of the late Durward Belmont and Jeanetta Theresa (Donnelly) Williamson. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Edward and Esta Donnelly and Eli Hi and Sadie Nancy Williamson.

He was the beloved brother of Mary, Patrick, Nikki, and Michael Williamson; a fun-loving, the much cherished dad to Chris & Jesse Williamson; an awesome grandad to Kaylee, Hayden, Madison, Stella, and Emma; the great grandad to Colter, and the always caring and fearless father-in-law of Amber and Mali.

Paul was the cherished friend and great supporter of Carolyn Williamson and the favorite uncle of Kelli, Mark Andrew, Abbey, Nick, Juliette (Sorry Michael & Pat) Jeff, Gary, and Brad Dickens.

As we all know, Paul was always keen for a laugh and would say most anything to stir anyone up just for shits & giggles, especially his sister-in-law, Miss Vicki. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and anyone who had the opportunity to know him.

Chris and I will miss the three-way phone conversations, all of us in our separate garages, feeling like we were together in one, just solving problems. Dad, you lived to teach us in all aspects of life. That teaching is done now old man, it is what it is. You are more than a father, you are our best friend. One thing is for sure, you really are tougher than a pine knot! Time to take it easy now old man.
