Paul Preston Peery

Paul "Preston" Peery, 69 of Huntington passed on to his eternal home on April 10, 2012.  Preston was born September 27, 1942 in Lynchburg, Virginia and was the son of the late Paul Oliver Peery and Ruby "Arlene" Aultice of Lynchburg.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lindsey Peery and children, Frankie (Susan) Peery, Lynn (Mark) Downey and Shannon (Rick) Shupe all of Lynchburg, Viriginia; His step-children Debra Nugent of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Shawn (Christie) Neal and Rick Neal of Huntington; Grandchildren, Kirsten Cooperman, Megan Downey, Miranda Peery, Tia Neal, Tanner Neal, Dane Shupe, Edan Shupe, Boone Neal, one great-grandchild, Leyton Brown.; Sisters, Violet (Harvey) Hamilton, Janice (Fred) Chambers, and Sheila (Danny) Horsley all of Lynchburg, Virginia and a host of extended family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by his dog, Kasey and a dear friend, Scott Wheeler.  Preston was self-employed as a finish carpenter and a master at his craft.  He was an avid outdoorsman and Nascar race fan.   Funeral services will be Saturday, April 14th, 2012, 11:00 a.m.  at First Presbyterian Church 1015 Fifth Avenue, Huntington, WV.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com.  Beard Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
