Paul H. Nicely has finished his journey and is Home with the Lord.  For all you that read this announcement, Dad left this invitation and asked it to be published:  Believe in God, Trust in his Grace and Promise, and you will join Dad in your future.  Born on December 30, 1940, of Vernon "Cotton" and Martha Nicely, Paul met his bride to be in the 2nd grade, announcing to his mother that he had just met the woman he was to marry.  He did.  Paul and Dixie Oleida Bills married on January 3, 1959 and shared 51 years together.  He was a member of Sybene Missionary Baptist Church. His legacy of life is beyond words and measure but of most importance include his faith and dedication to his wife and three children.  He is survived by his wife, Dixie, his sister, Mary McKee, and his children: daughter Pam Riffe, son Jeff Nicely, and daughter Tammy White.  Pam's family includes her husband, Geoff and their children, Alysson and Kyle Riffe.  Jeff and his wife, Sherri, have three children, Dustin, Sara and Parker and a granddaughter, Mindy.  Tammy and her son Bobby complete the immediate family.  Special and dear friends to Dad include Michael Farrell, Kevin Yingling, M.D., Richard Cielec and Charlie Ball.  Services will be: Visitation at Beard Mortuary on Friday, September 17, from 6 pm to 9 pm with the Funeral at Beard Mortuary on Saturday, September 18 at 11 am.  He will be laid to rest beside his father and mother in Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that a donation be made to the "Marshall University Forensic Science Center in memory of Paul H. Nicely".  The check may be sent to the Marshall University Foundation, 519 John Marshall Drive, Huntington, West Virginia.  25703.
