Paul Elmer Midkiff

Paul Elmer Midkiff, 91 of Ona, WV died Saturday July 12, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Stan Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park.  He was born December 10, 1916 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Elmer Midkiff and Lula Legge.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Edra Osborne Midkiff, two daughters, Dreama Midkiff and Vicki Ann Midkiff and two sons, William Mark Midkiff and Richard Dale Midkiff; and a sister, Elaine Halfhill He was retired from Union Carbide, Charleston, with forty-four years of service. He was a Marine Corps Veteran.He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Raymond Weaver of Ona; Milena and Thomas Moon of Milton, WV; Firelei and Allen Parks of Spotsylvania, VA and Marsha Midkiff of Charleston, WV; a son and daughter-in-law, Max and Tammy Midkiff of Hurricane, WV; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
