Paul Edward Hargis, Jr.

Paul Edward "Bubby" Hargis, Jr. 51 of Huntington, WV went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 22, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Jim Short officiating.  Burial will follow in the Plybon Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home.  He was born September 15, 1971 at Huntington, WV, a son of Shirley Mae Toler Hargis and the late Paul Edward Hargis.  In addition to his mother, Bubby is survived by a daughter, Miranda Hargis of Huntington, WV; a granddaughter, Lexi Brown of Huntington, WV; four sisters, Debbie Blankenship (Mitchell) of Huntington, WV, Kathy Jones (Philip) of Winston-Salem, NC, Rhonda Sellards (Jamey) of Huntington, WV and Carrie Robinson (Thomas) of Huntington, WV; his best friend of forty-two years, Phillip Collins; the love of his life, Lisa Mulcahy; two aunts, Lana Donahoe and Bertha Hager; one uncle, Ernie Hargis; and several nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention.
