Paul Harrison Dirton

PAUL H. "TED" DIRTON, JR., 83 years old of Huntington, WV, husband of Honey Menear Dirton, passed away on March 3, 2012. He was born on October 8, 1928 in Barboursville, WV, a son of the late Paul and Hazel Honaker Dirton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca Lynn. In addition to his wife he is survived by three children and their spouses, Robin & Phillip Skeens, Scott & Trudy Menear, and Jonathan Dirton; and seven grandchildren and their spouses Christopher & Felicia, Drew & Alyssa, Felix, Nick, Matthew, Brooke and Tallulah; and one great-grandson, Ezekiel Hunter Skeens. Mr. Dirton was a member of the Sixth Avenue Church of Christ, worked for Service Warehouse for more than 25 years and retired from Big Bear. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Minister George Plantz officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.
