Patricia D. (Pollard) Welch

Patricia D. Welch, 97 of Proctorville, OH, passed away May 6, 2024 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. She was born November 25, 1926 in Huntington to Lewis and Matilda (Nierman) Pollard.

Patricia graduated from Huntington High School. She was married to her loving husband, Robert C. Welch, for over 57 years before his passing in 2004. Patricia worked for the Huntington Automobile Club for 20 years and was a member of Presbyterian churches throughout the years. She moved to Silver Spring, MD where she lived for the next 35 years before returning to Proctorville.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; niece, Karen S. Adkins and grand nephew, Philip Hinchman. She is survived by her sister, Nancy C. Diehl of Proctorville; nieces, Patricia J.(Bret Herrald) Hanshaw of OH, Sarah J. (John) Wellbank of CA and Nancy J. (Robert) Webster of WI; grand nieces and nephews, Jennifer Scarberry, Calyse (Carson) Faris, Clayton (Carley) Wellbank, Brad (Kami) Webster and Julie Valadez, as well as great-grand nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Patricia's wonderful caregivers, Julie Poff Pletka, Misty Mayo, Sherry Campbell and Clarissa Moore.
