NORMA JEAN SCARBERRY, 79, of Huntington, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Mrs. Scarberry was born on September 11, 1934 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Eva Roberts. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Scarberry, Jr.; a daughter, Shelby Keffer and two sons-in-law, Tom Keffer and Rick Rakes. She is survived by her children, Meredith Rakes of South Point, OH and David (Pam) Scarberry of Omega Bay, TX; grandchildren, Nicole (Kevin) Wilson, Tracie (Orin) Runyon all of South Point, OH; Aubrey (Brandon) Renteria of San Antonio, TX; Michael Scarberry of Houston, TX; Kristie Keffer of Logan, WV, John (Amy) Keffer and Todd (Kim) Keffer of Mann, WV; and great grandchildren, Kaleb Wilson, Dawson and Tanner Runyon, Aubrey and Ethan Renteria; Allison and Seth Hainer, Mallory Taylor, John Thomas Keffer and Sydney and Madison Keffer. She was retired from American National Rubber and a member of the 26th Street Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Monday July, 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Leonard May and Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
