Nellie Elizabeth Deal

Nellie Elizabeth Deal, widow of Robert Deal, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Ministers Carl Mouser and Jerry Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Ashton, WV. She was born on February 6, 1911 in Ashton, a daughter of the late Worthy and Ruby Mayes. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Belinda; a grandson, Kraig Conrad; three brothers and one sister. She was a member of Moore's Chapel Methodist Church but in her later years attended Cox Landing Methodist Church and Fellowship Baptist Church with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Adeline Hensley, Myrna (Byron) Conrad, Sheila (John) Mitchell all of Lesage, WV.; six grandchildren; Kama Garrity, Kesha Holley and Tara Sevy all of Lesage, Trena Avia of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Ronna Hensley of AZ; six great-grandchildren, Namon and Leandra Sevy, Chaston and Kierra Holley, Tamar and Zeon Avia; one sister, Beatrice McConaha of Cleveland, OH, and a host of family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made in Nellie's honor to the charity of one's choice. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
