Nelle Newmeyer

Nelle Newmeyer enjoys eternal life following her death on Sunday, May 1, 2011.  Funeral service will be Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:00 am at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Jack Lipphardt officiating.  Entombment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.  Nelle was the daughter of the late Cline H. and Pearlie May Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Bernie C. Yeager; sister, Patsy J. Herman; brother, Donald E. Smith and sister-in-law, Mary Faye Smith.  She was a Past President of the Woman's Club of Huntington, the Timberlake Landowners' Association, the Riviera Ladies Golf League and the E.T. Jones Sunday School class at Johnson Memorial.  She was an alumnus of Marshall University and UCLA.  She retired from Price Waterhouse Coopers in Los Angeles as an assistant to the western regional managing partner.  She is survived by her son, Aaron W. Yeager and his wife, Terry; four grandchildren and their spouses, Tom and Valerie Yeager, Joe Yeager, Matt and Sheree Yeager and Amy Robinson.  Those who wish to honor her memory may do so with a gift to Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church.  Beard Mortuary, Huntington is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.beardmortuary.com
