NANCY JEANE AILLS, 81, of Huntington, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, August 21, 2015. Nancy was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where over the years she served as a Sunday School teacher and church treasurer. She loved her church family and serving God in any way that she could. Nancy was retired from Cabell County Board of Education. She began her career as a cook at Hite-Saunders Elementary, then worked as secretary at Beverly Hills Jr. High, at Simms Elementary and finished her career with several years as secretary at Spring Hill Elementary. She always cherished many special memories of her Spring Hill family. Nancy was an expert seamstress and cook. Her family, church and school always enjoyed the benefits of her talents. Nancy is survived by her daughter Kelly Aills Stone of Huntington; granddaughter, Kelsy Stone of Annapolis, Maryland; grandson, Marcus Stone (fiancé, Anna Williams) of Huntington; step-grandsons Derek Stone (Lisa Stone, Brooke and Luke Stone) of Columbus, Ohio and John Stone (Maddie and Max Stone) of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by a special brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Dixie Adkins of Huntington. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Aills, her parents, Asa Ray Adkins and Ruth Dixon Adkins, three brothers, Lucian "Pete" Adkins, infant twins Stanley and Steven Adkins and son-in-law, Edward Stone. "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:' 2 Timothy 4:7. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Beard Mortuary at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour before the service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at Crook Cemetery in Huntington, WV.
