Michael Steven Tennyson

Michael Steven Tennyson 69 of Huntington, WV passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at his residence. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, Jan.10th at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Stanley officiating. He was born on March 24, 1956, in El Monte, CA, the son of the late John and Marjorie McCoy Tennyson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathlene Gilbert Tennyson and a son, Jeremiah Tennyson. He retired from the City of Huntington Sanitation Board. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is survived by his children, a stepson, John Robert Lawrence, sons, Jeremiah, Michael (Courtney) and Matthew (Ashley) Tennyson, and daughter, Ashlynn (Seth Newman) Workman; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Breann, Riley, Tyler, Amelia, Marc, Maddox, Cayden, Kaylee and Karley; siblings, Peggy, John, Rob and Susan; his special Gilbert in-laws, John, Gary, Diana, Crystal and Mae-Marie; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and church family.
