Melissie F. (Isaacs) Peters

Melissie F. Isaacs Peters,  93, of Kenova, WV, a devoted wife and mother, passed into the arms of Jesus on August 11, 2024 at Madison Park Healthcare.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Peters, Sr., her father, Hansford Isaacs, her mother Joie McKeand Isaacs Malcolm, and her step-father, Floyd S. Malcolm.  She leaves to mourn daughter, Carol Lynn Mullins of Ceredo, son and daughter-in-law Charles E. Peters, Jr and Ava W. Peters of Kenova, two grandsons, Christopher Ferguson and Jeremy (Kim) Ferguson and three great-grand daughters.

Mother was first and foremost a Christian.  She loved being with her church family and friends at the Ceredo Church of Christ.  She lived to serve her family and community.  She was an officer of the C-K Civic League, PTA/Homeroom Mother and helper to anyone who needed it.  When we were in school she enjoyed traveling with the C-K High School Band as a chaperone and working with her close friends there.  She was always willing to help her neighbors with a home project and was a caregiver to her parents, in-laws and many in the neighborhood. Her favorite thing was spending time with Dad on a fishing trip, sitting on the back porch, going to a boat race or cooking his favorite meal.  She was an excellent cook.  They had a wonderful life together and now are reunited.

All services will be private and under the direction of Beard Mortuary.
